Frequently Asked Questions

What is Sakinah Wellness?

Sakinah Wellness is a space for gentle transformation — where awareness is cultivated, authenticity is sown, and purpose blooms. Through holistic coaching, mindfulness practices, and nature-rooted metaphors, I guide people back to themselves beyond roles and expectations.

What makes your approach different?

Many can become overwhelmed by the expectations and demands of supporting others and put their own needs last. This doesn’t mean that your broken, so approach is not about fixing who you are — it’s about rediscovering the truth you’ve always carried and tending it like a garden.

Do I need prior experience with mindfulness or coaching?

Not at all. Whether you’re new to self-reflection or already walking a healing path, you are welcome here. Each offering is designed to meet you where you are, gently and without pressure.

Do you offer group coaching for families, teams, or organizations?

Yes. I facilitate group experiences designed to strengthen connection, authenticity, and shared purpose. These sessions help families, teams, and communities cultivate awareness together and grow in alignment as a collective.

Can I book one-on-one sessions?

Absolutely. Individual coaching sessions are available for those seeking personalized support. You can schedule directly through my booking page and choose a time that feels right for you.

What can I expect from a session?

Sessions are gentle and intentional. We begin with grounding practices, move into reflection and clarity, and close with integration steps you can carry into daily life. Each session is a safe space for rediscovery.

Is this therapy?

No. My work is holistic coaching and guidance, not medical or clinical therapy. Therapy is designed to address mental health concerns, process trauma, and provide clinical treatment. Coaching, on the other hand, is not therapy — it is a forward-focused, collaborative process that helps you cultivate awareness, sow authenticity, and bloom into alignment with your values and purpose.

Coaching is about rediscovery: tending the soil of your present life so you can grow into the self you’ve always carried within. It’s not about diagnosing or treating — it’s about guiding, supporting, and empowering you to live congruently and intentionally.

While deeply supportive, it is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

How do I schedule a session?

Simply visit the Appointments page, choose your time, and confirm your booking. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

What are your fees?

Fees vary depending on whether you’re joining a group program, booking individual coaching, or inviting me to speak. Pricing is listed clearly on each offering’s scheduling page.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

Life happens. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. This helps me honor your time and mine with care.

Do you offer sliding scale or scholarships?

Yes. Accessibility matters. Limited sliding scale options are available for those who need them — reach out to discuss what feels possible.
